Amazing! A little pricey but I recommend going during happy hour. Everything was delicious with my favorites probably being the madai crudo (very refreshing) and namahotate/day boat scallop. The fried milk was another pleasant surprise and would suggest you try it too. Service was on point and loved how each dish was explained as it was brought out. There was a nice casual element to the place and still would be a great date night spot. Complimentary valet was also available.

One of the best fine dining places in Dallas. Cocktail list is small but very good. Highly recommend the Lychee Martini. They have a separate vegetarian menu. Uchi salad was very flavorful. Also recommend the crispy tofu maki, spicy crunchy and shag. Mango tapioca was great as well.

We came to celebrate our anniversary and as always, Uchi delivered an amazing experience and a memorable night. Our server Lalo was energetic and very nice, and very accommodating to our shellfish allergy and ensured that every dish brought out was prompted with a shellfish free mention. After a few drinks, we decided on the somakase and Lalo crafted the perfect tasting menu for us. He might be a mind reader because every dish suited our taste buds perfectly. The tuna and salmon flights with otoro were incredibe and melt in your mouth, and the mushroom rice in the sizzling hot bowl were absolutely delicious. And top it all, the fried milk dessert was a lovely way to finish out a wonderful meal experience. The ambiance and decor are classy and fun, and this restaurant continues to be a special delight for any occasion worth celebrating. The free valet also made parking a breeze and they were very friendly and prompt. Thank you Lalo and all the wonderful staff at Uchi!

I came here on Mother’s Day to treat my mom, and it was an excellent choice. She absolutely loved the sushi and the drinks — everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. Despite how busy it was, the staff remained friendly and attentive, providing quick and efficient service. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming. We had a great time, and I’m definitely planning to come back again soon!

Uchi Dallas is one of those places that somehow lives up to the hype—every single time. The food is always incredible, with flavors that are unexpected in the best way. It’s the kind of spot that works just as well for a business dinner as it does for a night out with friends. The food is next level, the drinks are spot-on, and the whole vibe is modern but still welcoming. You can also eat upstairs at their other concept, and honestly, both are amazing. Highly recommend if you’re into food that surprises you—in a really good way. EVERYTHING is REALLY good.

Every bite was a masterpiece. Very few sushi restaurants create an experience like this, but here, they make it both interesting and fun. It starts with complimentary valet parking (of course, tipping is expected), which sets a nice tone right from the beginning. When you walk in, you’re greeted by three hostesses who are quick, efficient, and very welcoming. We were able to get a reservation with only about a 30-minute wait, which was great. Once seated, we received our menus — and while I don’t eat a lot of high-end sushi, this was definitely a step above the usual. The menu sections are labeled in Japanese, but the staff kindly explained everything to us, which added a cool, authentic touch. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout the meal. Just a heads-up: if you’re planning to leave with a full belly, be prepared to spend a good amount. Expect to drop at least a few hundred dollars for two people if you really want to experience everything and leave satisfied. We ordered about eight different dishes, each one new to us, and every single bite was phenomenal. If you’re willing to splurge a bit for something different, memorable, and absolutely delicious, this is definitely the place to go.

Had such a great time at the restaurant! The food was absolutely divine—every dish had so much flavor, and you can really tell that Chef David puts a lot of heart into what he does. Big compliments to the kitchen! The service was also top notch. LA and Patrick were both amazing—friendly and helpful. The vibe of the place was really chill and cozy, but still had a nice touch of style. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back!

I love Uchi and go a couple times a year since it’s close to home and always a reliable choice. The construction around it has been going on forever, so the area’s kind of a mess, but the food makes up for it. They keep a pretty high standard and most of what I’ve had is great. We did the omakase once and it was definitely creative, but a little too out there for me. One of the dishes was literally called “pond water,” which was a bit much. I’d rather do omakase at Shoyo or Tatsu. That said, Uchi’s great for fun bites like the Hama Chili, and their cocktails are always really good. Overall, it’s a fun spot for sushi!
